Show Personal Shower Honors Betty lorg A personal shower was given Wednesday night at the home of Lee Jessen in honor of Miss Betty lorg. Minnie Lue Stevenson Steven-son and Mona Nebeker were co-hostesses. co-hostesses. .The table was lovely, decorated with a centerpiece of asters, with streamers going to each place of spring basket mints and a place. Guests present were Dorothy Dor-othy Hicken, of Tabiona; Ar-lene Ar-lene Johnson, Connie Fieldsted, of Boneta; Arda Ames, Shar-lene Shar-lene Young, ' Florence Jessen, the guest of honor, Betty lorg, of Upalco; Mona Nebeker, of Mt. Emmons, and Minnie Lue Jessen. Mrs. LaFonda Thompson and family and Miss Maxine Thompson, Thomp-son, of Heber, arrived here to visit Mrs. Thompson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Foote, of Salt Lake City, came out to the Altamont graduation exercises, exer-cises, Thursday. Sharrel Ames, a graduate, is a niece of the Footes. Florence Weeks accompanied Sharen Bird to her home in Sunnyside, Sunday, to spend a week. Sharren has been staying -with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Anderson, of Altamont Alta-mont and attendihg high school. Howard Fowler left May 22 for Los Angeles, Calif, to make his home. Announce Wedding Hershel Jones, of Tabiona, an-nounceed an-nounceed the engagement of his daughter, Alta, to Wm. H. Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Al-bert Clark. The wedding will take place June 4th. |
