Show Wendy Humphrey addresses Vocational Students two-year certificate from SUSC's nursery school teaching assistant program and plans to start a preschool in her home this fall. "Mrs. Humphrey was selected as our outstanding student speaker because of her overall achievements at SUSC," says Van L. Bushnell, SUSC vocational coordinator. "She is a fine individual, an excellent student, and a person who has put her many talents to good use while working towards her certificate in the nursery school program." Vocational commencement com-mencement will begin at 7 p.m. in the Adams Memorial Shakespearean Theatre. Mrs. Humphrey, the daughter of1 Sid and Josephine Walker, 4155 South 1420 West, Murray, is a 1971 graduate of Kearns High School. She came to I m W Ml l . f HI I III II SUSC her freshman year where she met and married her husband Kimball R. Humphrey, Cedar City. The Humphrey's are the parents of four children, John 6, Phillip 5, Emily 2, and Benjamin 2 months. "My husband encouraged me to come back to school and has been very supportive sup-portive while I've been working towards my nursery nur-sery school certificate," she says. "I've found that school has had more meaning to me now that I'm preparing for a career." Mrs. Humphrey took the CLEP test when she returned to school and earned enough credit to enable her to earn a two-year two-year certificate in only one year. Her speech Friday will dear with life planning, on preparing a blueprint with which to accomplish lifetime goals.
