Show High School Wrestlers Slate Region Matches I Regional wresllng matches featuring eight high schools of the southern Utah area will be staged in Cedar City on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21 and 22, it was announced this week by Hal Nor'on. coach at the Cedar High School. ' The eight team matches, larg- est regional event in the Class B ranks in the state, will pit some of the top wrestling teams in the state. To be represented will be Delta, Millard, Cedar, Hurricane, Kanab, Dixie, Monrce and Richfield high schools. Preliminary elimination events will be staged Friday, Feb. 21 and Friday evening the finals are to be held at the high school gymnasium and on Sa'urday ternoon. Wrestlers in the various weignt , divisions will be vying for the right to enter the state Class B wrestling meet to be held on the University of Utah campus the following week end, Nor'on said. Several wrestling events have beer, staged prior to the region meet to get the Cedar High wrestling team in condition. A previously postponed ma'ch between be-tween Cedar and Springvllle will be held Saturday. Postponement was necessary when an automobile automo-bile accident enroute to Cedar occurred.
