Show Elder S. W.Kimball Named Conference Visitor Eldr Spencer W. Kimball of the quorum of the Twelve Apostles Apos-tles of 'he Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will represent repre-sent the general authorities of the Church at the coming quarterly quar-terly conference of the Parowan Stake, P Is announced by Howard How-ard D. Knight, stake president. The conference is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15 and 16 with the Saturday meetings meet-ings 'o be held in the Parowan First-Second Ward chapel and the Sunday meetings in the Third Ward chapel. As this will be a welfare conference, a member of the general church welfare committee com-mittee will also be in a'tendance but who it will be hasn't been announced as yet. President Knight also announces tha the work of the Aaronic Priesthood will be stressed at the sessions also. Schedule of meetings will be-pin be-pin at 6 30 p. m. Sa'urday with the Welfare session, to be follow, ed by the Priesthood leadership session at 8 p. m. Sunday meet-ings meet-ings will be at 10 a. m. and 2 n. m., ho'h general esssions, with the Mutual Improvement meeting meet-ing to be held at 7:30 p. m. under un-der the direction of the stc?ke MIA board. The Priesthood Leadership ses. sion will place special emphasis on the guidance of youth. President Presi-dent Knight sta'es. lie also an-nounces an-nounces the the music for the general sessions of the conference confer-ence on Sunday will he furnished furnish-ed by the Parowan Third Ward choir under the direction of Ra-mona Ra-mona Stubbs, with Mary Lyman as accompanist. Elder Richard B. Whitney, who returned las week from the California Cali-fornia Mission, will report his la-bors la-bors at one of the general sessions. |
