Show Livestock Assn. Tells Banquet Program Plans Annual banquet of the Cedar City Livestock Association will be staged on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at hotel El Escalante, it was announced this week. As in the past, lamb for the banquet will be furnished by members of the association and It will be prepared and catered by the Utah Parks Company. Featured guest of the evening will be F. B. Lewis of Omaha. Neb. Mr. Lewis is manager of safety and courtesy for the Union Pacific Railroad. Another feature of the evening will be a presentation of a num. ber of "Make It Yourself With Wool" con'estants In Iron County. Coun-ty. These young ladies have recently re-cently competed for honors on a county and state basis in this annual contest. In announcing he banquet Edwin Ed-win O. Larson, immediate past president of the association n'so announced the new slate of officers offi-cers who have recently been elected. elec-ted. Replacing Mr. Larson as president is Carlos Jones. As vice president will be Jim Watson, Wat-son, who replaces Jay Thorlcy, and Darrell Matthews will continue con-tinue to serve as secretary and treasurer of the organization. Members of the new board oi directors include Mr. Larson, Mr, Thorley. Alex Williams and Robert Rob-ert Mlddleton. |
