Show lc) ell Doris P. Morrill Deloy Morrill arrived home Sunday evening from Long Beach, Calif., where he is staying stay-ing in a veterans' hospital. He will have a twenty-day visit here before returning. The Boy Scout troop left Monday morning for Salt Lake City, where they will have a three-day outing and trip. They were accompanied by Scoutmas- ter Dellis Morrill and M.I. A. Superintendent Lester Bartlett. The boys going on the trip were: Floyd Bartlett, Ray Moosman, Gaylon McKee. Elvin Morrill, Kay Glines, Dee Ross and Larry Cook. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bigler and family, of Salt Lake City, visited visit-ed Sunday with relatives in Tri-dell. Tri-dell. The Jr. Gleaners, with Mrs. Karen McKee, attended the Jr. Gleaner outing up the canyon Friday evening. Mrs. Davis Morrill and daughter, daugh-ter, Barbara, and Shirley Huber visited a few days last week in Salt Lake City Merrill Goodrich was taken to Salt Lake City, Monday evening eve-ning where he received medical treatment for an eye injury, which he received while working work-ing on the mountain. He, with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Goodrich, returned to Tridell Tuesday evening. Tridell ward M.I.A. was host at the Stake Leadership meeting meet-ing in Vernal Thursday evening. Those attending were: Lester Bartlett, Marian Harvey, Martha Morrill, Lorna McKee, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Merrill, Karen McKee, Doris Morrill and Marta Morrill. Primary officers and teachers who attended the stake Testimony Testi-mony meeting in Vernal Friday 1 evening were: Doris P. Morrill, I Jennis Betts, Vida McKee, Ruby I Ross, Thelma McKee and Deon Merkley. The girls' ball team went to Glines last Wednesday to play. The final score was 18-9 with Tridell winning. Mrs. Don Hughes and children, chil-dren, of Salt Lake City, are vis iting this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Wilson. Marvin Olsen, Jr. is spending a leave from the U. S. Marines here with his wife and parents. When he returns to California, Mr. Olsen will accompany him. Kay Goodrich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Goodrich, left Saturday Sat-urday for induction into the U. S. Army. He will spend a few days visiting in American Fork before reporting for induction, in-duction, July 14th. Mr. and Mrs. Blayne Morrill made a trip to Chepeta Lak, |
