Show HOMTIVELL By Bettie Mower Attending Chicago Harvester School Ray Brown left this week for Chicago, where he is going to attend an International Harvester Har-vester school. Glen Brown .attended the birthday party of Larry Johnson's, John-son's, of Roosevelt, Thursday. They went swimming in Vernal. Mrs. Eldoris Fenn visited five days in Salt Lake City last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hardman. While there she attended the last Temple excursion before the Temple closed. Mrs. Gayle Thompson is spending a few days in Vernal visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shipley Williamson. Mr. and. Mrs. A. D. Shaw have recently purchased a 1946 Chev. Mrs. Vernil Blanchard visited with relatives in Boise, Idaho five days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Adams and son, Stanley visited in Pleasant Grove, Tuesday, Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Adams. Enid Brown and Karen Nelson are staying in Pleasant Grove at Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Adams', while picking raspberries. rasp-berries. Eldon Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Thompson of Roosevelt is staying with his Aunt and Uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson attended at-tended the funerals of Kent and Karl Jensen, in Emory this week. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were Merlin Mer-lin Sullivan, of the High Council; Coun-cil; J. Harold Eldredge, stake patriarch Scott Edrington and Renae Eldredge, two 1953 Seminary Sem-inary graduates. Ronald Brown and Dee Adams left Saturday to attend the Scout Jamboree in California. Donald Trujillo and Bennor Hatch of Vernal were Sunday afternoon guests of Miss Rosa-lee Rosa-lee Brown. Those who attended the R. E. A. meeting in Altamont Friday Fri-day were- Bishop James Hambl-in, Hambl-in, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Crapo, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown and Melvin Mower. Wayne Brown left Friday for Boy's State at Point-of-the-mountain. |
