Show DOUBLE BOILER BUBBLES ARCADIA Our fourth meet-. meet-. ing was held at the home of our leader, Cleo Holgate, on July 8. We had our business meeting arid then made Blanc Mange pudding, after which we ad-jaurned. ad-jaurned. Our fifth meeting was on July 10th at the home of our teacher. Cleo Holgate. We had a health report by Marsha Lusty and planned our 4-H trip. We then baked potatoes. Linda Larsen, Reporter H-H-H-H BLUEBELL 4-H CLUB BLUEBELL We met at our teacher's home on July 8. Our opening prayer was given by Daphine Lisonbee and our health lesson was given by Mar-olyn Mar-olyn Atwood. Our leader gave us a talk on making dusting cloths and gave us some new sheets for our folders. We sang some songs and talked on safety. We worked on our shoe racks, vanity tables and magazine racks. Refreshments were served by Carolyn Goodrich. Marolyn Atwood, Reporter H-H-H-H BUSY STITCHERS BLUEBELL The Bluebell Busy Stitchers have three mem bers, including Carolyn Good-! rich, Carma Atwood and Daphine Daph-ine Lisonbee. Our teachers are Martha Tharsen and Irene Barrett. Bar-rett. Carolyn is president; Car- ma, vice-president and Daphine, secretary. We have patched a piece of cloth, made shoulder protectors and started slips and dresses. We all enjoy this work. Daphine Lisonbee, Reporter H-H-H-H COUNTRY CLUB IOKA Wednesday night, July 8. the Ioka Country Club held its 4-H Club meeting at the home of Gary Zobell. The meeting was called to order by i President Alton Percival. Prayer Pray-er was offered by Bart Killian. We then learned the fundamentals fundamen-tals of sheep judging. Refreshment Refresh-ment were served by Mrs. Zobell. Zo-bell. Charles Richens, Reporter H-H-H-H SUCCESS CLIMBERS ROOSEVELT We held our 4-H Club on July 9. Two new members, Janet Liddell and Brenda Lepore, joined our club. Refreshments were served by Janet Liddell. The meeting closed clos-ed at 4 p.m. We met again on Monday, July 13, at the home of Renae Eldredge. Renae led the singing sing-ing and Lorraine led the pledge. Our vice-president called the meeting to order. Eleanor gave a health lesson and after refreshments re-freshments were served the meeting adjourned at 4 p.m. Phyllis Timothy, Reporter H-H-H-H FANCY FIXERS IOKA The Fancy Fixers met at the home of Edith Gentry Gen-try to prepare an entire meal. The meeting was called to order by the president, Ida Gay Lemon. Lem-on. The minutes were read by the secretary, Marcia Lemon. Songs were sung by the whole-group whole-group and led by the song leader, lead-er, Ravona Campbell. The dinner din-ner was very good and the meeting meet-ing was adjourned by the president. |
