Show 4-H Club The 4-H group met at the home of Maryanne Reay last Thursday. Those present were Flora Jean Denver, Sherry Wall, Shirley McConkie, Karen Hansen, Han-sen, Katherine Hartman, Melba Rust and Roberta Denver. The girls displayed the aprons they have completed. Mr. and Mrs. Max Hartman were in Salt Lake City on business busi-ness Friday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hansen will have Mrs. Hansen's father for a summer guest. He is Edgar Thayne, of Salt Lake City, and recently returned from a trip to California. Mrs. Mayle Parker and small daughter is visiting with her folks while her husband is finishing fin-ishing his summer school sessions ses-sions at the USAC in Logan. She has been visiting for a week. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were Bonnie Bon-nie Perkins, George Chapman, Grant Monson and Ross Berrett. Curtis Dastrup offered a vocal solo. Mrs. Annie Bench, of Provo, is visiting with her daughter and family, Mrs. Bernard Dastrup. Das-trup. Mrs. J. M. Fitzwater and Mrs. Eugene Davies, both of Duchesne, Du-chesne, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Snow on Thursday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Des Moines An- derson, of Salt Lake, are living in the Dastrup Apartments. Mr. Anderson is in charge of cheese making at the new creamery. Mr. and Mrs. George Berrett and family have been in Range-ly, Range-ly, Colo, for a few days, taking care of Chuck Allred's place during his illness. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crosby and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Crozier were dinner guests with Mr. and Mrs. Bovee Mecham on Sunday of last week. Miss Lois Sadler has gone to Tacoma, Washington with her father for a two weeks' visit with Mr. and Mrs. Neil Kitter-idge. Kitter-idge. Mrs. Kitteridge is Lois' sister, Ina Mae. Ross Berrett took the Scouts of Mt. Emmons ward to Vernal on Saturday to swim. Grant Hansen was in Salt Lake last Friday on business. He brought his mother back with him and she visited with his family and with the Waldo Hansen family for several dajs last week. Mrs. Johnny Lambert and children visited with Mr. and Mrs. Arch Benson and other members of the Benson family to discuss plans for the coming Benson reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Kolb and family just returned from a mo- tor trip that took them several days and through several states. |
