Show M.I. A. Swimming Held Wednesday The Mutual held a swimming party on Wednesday evening at the Murray pond. Those present were Carma. Marolyn and El-oyce El-oyce Atwood, Ralph, Jay, Drew, Jo Ann Goodrich, Bobbie Red-ford, Red-ford, Wayne and Paul Bird, Brent Goodrich, Gene Barrett, Doug Barlow, Max Allred, Colleen Col-leen Roberts, Judy and Jerry Lambert, Phil and Slade Mathews, Math-ews, Dal and Janet Seeley, June and Calvin Powell. John Asa Webb accompanied by a buddy from Heber, and one from California, (all three are in the service) and are stationed sta-tioned in Texas, spent the weekend week-end here and in Heber with their parents. John Asa was only on-ly able to visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook, from 1 p.m. Saturday until 8 a.m., Sunday, as he had to be at his camp Monday morning, but he said it was worth it. They came by auto. Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Rust have recently moved into the Anthon Rust place. The Pectols and their five children from California, have been viisting here with Mr. and Mrs. James Babcock. Mrs. Pec-tol Pec-tol and James are sister and brother. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Anderson and family, of Salt Lake City, spent Saturday and Sunday here with Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson. Ander-son. Miss Jolene Neilson spent the weekend here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wally Neilson. Jolene Jo-lene is employed at the Paris Co. in Salt Lake City. James W. Powell spent Saturday Satur-day in Vernal looking at the Vernal Rodeo grounds to find ways to improve Altamont's Rodeo Ro-deo grounds. He was accompanied accompan-ied by other members from Moon Lake stake. Their plans are to improve the concession stands and the seating capacity. Mr. Powell also visited with his brother, Heber Powell. Asa Dickson, of Salt Lake City, visited on Wednesday and Thursday here with his cousins, Gardner, Leslie, Fred and John i Goodrich and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Timothy and two children, of Altonah, i visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murray. |
