Show Neola Will Have New Play Center On July 24 An old creamery building in Neola will soon begin operating in an entirely new field instead in-stead of testing cream and mailing mail-ing cheese, people who go there beginning July 24 will find the place a center of entertainment, with roller skating and dancing as the big features. According to W. J. Wilker-son. Wilker-son. the man responsible for the transformed business, the grand opening of the Vella Entertainment Entertain-ment Center will take place on Friday, July 24, with roller skating beginning at 2 p.m. and a big dance in the evening. It is possible that the Vella will be open for skating three times weekly, with dancing once each week. Mr. Wilkerson was not sure of the days, but reported his dances will not compete with regularly established dances dan-ces in the area. Prizes will be given away at the opening dance. Mr. Wilkerson reports the building will not be recognized because of the complete remodeling remod-eling and redecorating job done. A new hardwood floor has been installed and everything about it has been done in modern design. de-sign. The public is invited to inspect the newest recreation center in the Basin. |
