Show i Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Malin drove to Salt Lake City, Sunday Sun-day to meet Mrs. Malin's cousin, Miss Priscilla Cartwright. who is visiting here from the East. NEOLA Mr. and Mrs. Grant Jacobsen and son, Dennis, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sorenson, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Duncan, of Neola. Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Daren Dar-en C. Young will be interested to learn that the Youngs became be-came parents of a baby girl on July 9. The newcomer, who will be named Annette, was born in Spanish Fork, where Mr. Young is now teaching. The other Young children, Bruce and Nancy, Nan-cy, were born in Roosevelt while Mr. Young was a member mem-ber of the Elementary School faculty. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hall and Joan Walker returned recently re-cently from a vacation trip to Long Beach and Los Angeles, where they visited with relatives. rela-tives. Houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Rudy are their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Ridgeway and daughter, Patricia Pa-tricia Ann, of Riverton, Wyo. Mrs. Ridgeway and daughter have been here two weeks and were joined Monday by Mr. Ridgeway. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Raw-lings, Raw-lings, accompanied by Mrs. La-Rue La-Rue Laris, attended funeral services, ser-vices, in Salt Lake City last week for Mrs. Ethel Hill, grandmother grand-mother of Mrs. Laris and Mr. Rawlings. Mr. Louie Laris and Mrs. La-Rue La-Rue Laris and children left Monday for Price to get Mrs. Laris, who' is recovering from an operation performed recently in the Price Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yack, Maurine and Martin, returned last Thursday night from River-ton, River-ton, Wyoming, where they attended at-tended funeral services of Wm. A. Walkup, Mrs. Yack's uncle. They visited Yellowstone Park enroute home. Mr. and Mrs. George Walkup and daughter, Georgia, and Mrs. Gene Walkup also attended the funeral, remaining at Riverton for several days before returning return-ing home. Orlie Rachele, who became the proud father of a new son, born Monday Mon-day at 5:45 p.m. Mother and new arrival are doing fine at the Roosevelt Hospital, where the little fellow weighed in at 8 lbs., 13 oz. Name given him is Aldon Ray and his only brother, Orlando, Jr., two' years old, will be happy to see him when he arrives home. Mrs. Frank McClure, Bob Hall and Mrs. Hall just returned from a trip to Craig, Colorado and up to Lovell, Wyoming m Big Horn Basin, where they visited vis-ited Mrs. Hall's twin sister. They also visited in Powell City and the Hart Mt. district, where the Japanese prisoners were kept out of the wax. One of the highlights of the vacation was touring Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park. They returned home via Idaho, traveling 1720 miles during the entire trip. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Scholes, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jensen, left Wednesday night for a two-week vacation trip to San Francisco and up the coast to the Northwest and Canada.
