Tomato Wine. The San Luis Obis- i pa Standard of January 20th has the I following: Meacham of the Huasna submitted to our taste as a connoisseur, a sample of wine manufactured by himself from tomatoes. We found it an excellent beverage, having a fine aud pleasant flavor, and, notwithstanding its newness, new-ness, with considerable of a body. If enough of this wine is manufactured to give it an age, traders will succeed in introducing a popular drink, and perhaps per-haps in reducing the consumption of the vile stuff known as "sheep herder's her-der's delight."
