Show ARCADIA Mrs. Elsie Bird Three Graduate From Primary Sunday night, June 1, the following girls were graduated from Primary: Marina Lusty, Eleanor Cpson, Maurine Mc-Kenna. Mc-Kenna. Clyde DeGraff came Thursday Thurs-day f.om Heber City to gel Mrs. DeGraff, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Zirker. . Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen and son, Kent, attended the wedding of their niece in Sal; Lake on Friday. Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, chil-dren, of Neola, spent Saturday and Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Max Mullins arrived Wednesday from San Diego, California, where Max has been stationed. Mrs. Mullins will remain here while Max is overseas. Mrs. Celia Gilbert returned home with Mr. and Mrs. Max Mullins, after spending a coup-pie coup-pie of weeks visiting in San Diego, California and other points of interest. The following attended Beehive Bee-hive Swarm Day at Duchesne, Thursday: Lois Turpening, Barbara Bar-bara Ross, Elsie Bird, Bessie Lusty, Thelma McKenna. Maurine Mau-rine McKenna, Gladys Capson, Eleanor Capson, Marsha Lusty, and Marva Horrocks. Naomi Gilbert has returned from Provo, where she has been attending school. Friday, the Primary officers and teachers took the Primary children to Myton where they surprised Mrs. Elsie Nielson. The afternoon was spent playing games on the lawn. Ice cream was served. The Primary presented pre-sented her with a lovely tabl? lamp. A number of men and boys have taken their cattle to the mountains for summer ranging. Mrs. Ida Horrocks attended the postmasters convention in Logan during the week. Mrs. Rose Gilbert and Ellen made a trip to Vernal Friday. Those who attended the chastity chas-tity meeting at Duchesne Friday Fri-day night were Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, Deon, Delaine and Mildred Bird, Mr?. Lois Turpening. Tur-pening. Mrs. Rose Gilbert, Ellen Gilbert, Mrs. Merle Ross, Mer-!ynn Mer-!ynn Ross, Vera Larsen and Pauline Larsen. Mil and Mrs. Hale Holgatc, and Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans attended the wedding of Colin Nielson and Barbara Allred in Mt. Emmons Sunday. Beverly Johnson returned Monday from a trip through the northwest with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Johansen. |
