This is $744,860 more than the figure, included on this first report submitted to the Utah State Tax Commission in 1951. Assessment of livestock live-stock jumped from a $763,485 total valuation last vear to $1,172,525 this year, or a valuation valu-ation increase of $409,040. Part of this increase is due to the number of assessments and part to the increased valuation . for , livestock as set up by the state j tax commission officials. In the range cattle assessment column on the roll books 1,784 more cattle are listed for this year than for 1951; and the number of cattle otherwise assessed as-sessed increased 290, making a total increase of 2,074 this year. Increase in assessed value of the ran.ee and other cattle is from $400,525 in 1951 to $581,-400 $581,-400 this year, or a difference of $180,875.
