Show A group of MIA girls left Monday at noon for Orem 10 spend a few days picking strawberries at the Park s' Place. They were Afton Man-gum Man-gum and Patsy Gines, of Bal-lara; Bal-lara; Maria Pulos, Gay Lynn Patry, Diane Nelson, Carol Memmott, Beoma Moore, Glen-na Glen-na Betts and Ruth Collatzi, Roosevelt; Lorna Mae Wilson and Martha Lou Horrocks, Duchesne, Du-chesne, j Senator and Mrs. Clair Ash-ton Ash-ton left this week for Salt Lake City, where Senatbf Ash-ton Ash-ton will participate in the special spe-cial legislative session. Mrs. Axel Anderson left this week to attend summer school at the University of Utah. Mrs. Neldon Nyberg returned last Friday from Salt Lake City, where she was with her sister who underwent an operation. She planned to leave in a few days to attend summer school at the University of Utah. Leaving Wednesday night to attend the B. F Goodrich toy fair and the MIA June convention con-vention in Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. George Hacking and family. i Mrs. Jack Wiscombe. of Salt Lake City, former resident of Roosevelt, arrived last Saturday to spend several days with Mr. and Mrs. Theo' Phillips and other friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Rockwood and family, accompanied by Miss Maurine Ivory, left Sunday to spend several days in Salt Lake Citv. Miss Edith Hardinger and Mis? Donna Todd left Sunday, planning to meet Nancy and Maurine in Salt Lake and take in Lagoon interests together. They plan to attend the MIA June conference, also. I |
