Commencement Talk AtCSU By Sterling W. Sill Sterling W. Sill, assistant to the Council of the Twelve of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints, will give the commencement com-mencement address at graduation gradua-tion ceremonies at College of Southern Utah, according to Dr. Royden Braithwaite, director. Commencement services will be held in the CSU auditorium Thursday, May 28 at 8 p. m. Mr. Sill was a member of the board of regents of the University Univer-sity of Utah from 1940 to 1951 and was chairman of the board from 1917 to 1951. He was awarded award-ed an honorary doctor of law degree from the University, of Utah June 9, 1953. The new University of Utah home living center now bears his name in honor of his many outstanding out-standing contributions to the University. Mr. Sill has long been active In the affairs of the LDS Church. He is a former bishop, member of j ' . xL STERLING W. SILL a stake high council and member mem-ber of the Sunday School general board from 1951 until his call to serve as an assistant to the Twelve in 1954. He is an outstanding writer and public speaker and has been active in the insurance business.
