Show Iron County Native Dies in Texas, Funeral in Summit Lloyd Dalley White, 60, former form-er resident of Summit and Paro- wan, died Monday, April 13 at his home in Fort Stockton, Tex., of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted at the Summit Ward chapel cha-pel Saturday, April 18 at 2 p. m. and burial will be in the Par-owan Par-owan cemetery. Services were also conducted at Fort Stockton Wednesday. Born Sept 13, 18J8 at Summit, Sum-mit, a son of Herbert and Lillian R Dalley White, he married Le-Prlal Le-Prlal Day of Pa rowan Nov. 18, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. tem-ple. They lived In Parowan until un-til 1932 when they moved to Texas, Raised In Summit Mr. White also attend Branch Agricultural College, now College of Southern Utah. Active in the LDS Church, he served as a missionary to the Northern States and has been president of U.e West Texas District,- ouii states Mission and president of the Monohans Branch. He was president of the Sotary Club, a member of the school board, served on the town council and was a member of the board for the Ranchers, Wool and Mohair Production Company of Texas and a director of the Texas Production Company. lie Is survived by his widow, .Fort Stockton; two sons and two 'daughters, Wayne D. White, Washington, D. C; Dorothy Wagner, Wag-ner, Murray, Utah; Dixie Rlchen-bach, Rlchen-bach, Provo; Stephen White, Fort Stockton; brothers and sisters: Mrs. P. M. Mickelsen, Mldvale; Mrs. A. M. Matheson and Herbert Her-bert D. White, Summit; Elbert D. White, Redding, Calif.; Mrs. R. D. WUklns, Pioche, Nev.: Don White, Meaqulte, Nev.; Mrs. W. S. Burns, Clearfield; Mrs. L. II. Morton, Eau Gallle, Florida; Mrs. C. W. Love, Hawthorne, Nev. Friends may call at the Herbert Her-bert White home In Summit from 10 a. m. Saturday until time of services. |
