Show Ladies oi Elks Install New Officers at Meet On April 9, the Cedar City Lad-ies Lad-ies of Elks installed in a candlelight candle-light ceremony Mrs. Rita Esplin as president: Mrs. Nadeen Nel son, vice president; Mrs. Barbara Hunter, secretary, and Mrs. Jo Hartman, treasurer. Mrs. Itha Lindsay will be Chaplin; Chap-lin; Mrs. Dorothy Urie, historian; Mrs. Colleen Urie, reporter, and Mrs. Mildred Thompson, director.! The executive committee members mem-bers for the new year will be Mrs. Mary Fullmer, Mrs, Alice Tuckett, Mrs. Helen Tyler, Mrs. Betty Macfarlane, Mrs. Ann Mag-ionos Mag-ionos and Mrs. LeOnta Miller. Appointed as project chairman and organist was Mrs. Lillis Spencer while Mrs. Betty Macfarlane Macfar-lane was selected to serve a the state board member. Installation officer for the Impressive Im-pressive ceremony was Mrs. Idona Jackson. Assisting Mrs. Jackson was Mrs. Helen Delaney, installation usher. Lovely t corsages cor-sages were presented the newly honored officers by Mrs. Pharol Adams and Mrs. Margaret Gamble. Gam-ble. A lovely social evening honoring honor-ing the retiring off;ors will be held on Thursday, April 23 and all Ladies of Elks are invited to attend. |
