Show ENOCH-MIDVALLEY NEVS NOTES By Cora Murl I Mrs. Delia Romney of Duncan, Ariz a niece of Owen Matheson, I visited with relatives here and In Parowan. She is a daughter of. William Matheson, a former res- Ident of Midvfi'iey. Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson land children of Alamo, Nev., spent the last two week ends here while David helped with the shearing. A park committee to be responsible respon-sible for the summer recreation program here was selected Sunday. Sun-day. Named to the newly organized organ-ized group were Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Jones, Robert Munson, Mrs. Louise Matheson and Cres-sel Cres-sel Sherratt. Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Matheson Mathe-son and children were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. Matheson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Matheson. They were also in attendance at our Sacrament meeting. Visiting with relatives and friends over the week end were Mr. and Mrs. Denton Jones of Murray. Denton, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Jones, has just been I assigned as district manager of 'the Boellne Gas Stations from I Bountiful to St. George. Mrs. Sarah Matheson ws honored hon-ored on her birthday with visits during the day from her children. chil-dren. 1 The Boy Scouts held their an-jnual an-jnual party and dinner Saturday evening. The Relief Society cooked cook-ed and served the meal which included in-cluded chicken casserole, set salad, sa-lad, hot rolls, buttered corn, relish re-lish plates and angle food cake. Following the delicious meal a program showing Scout work was with demonstrations was presented pre-sented and a court of honor was ' held with awards presented to members of the troop. |
