Show Parowan Rams Win 6 to 2 Over Enterprise Wolves The Parowan High School baseball base-ball team won its first game of the league season last Friday on the home field by taking a 6 to 2 decision from the Enterprise Enter-prise High Wolves. Coach John Wood's boys played a much Improved game from that which they played against Ka-nab Ka-nab the week before. Against Enterprise they got 8 hits and made only two errors. Five of the eight hits went for extra bases, with Kenneth Dalton getting a home run and a double, Ken-yon Ken-yon Clark a triple. Jay Graff and Dean Brown doubles. Pitching was divided between Raymond Lowe and Dennis Low-der. Low-der. Lowe went four innings, allowing three hits and two runs. Lowder held the Wolves scoreless score-less during his three inning turn at the plate. Coach Wood states that with a bye this week, an intra-squad game will be played this Friday. Next league competition for the Rams will be at Cedar on Friday, April 24 with the Cedar High Redmen. The final game on the schedule 'vlil be at Hurricane the following Friday with the Tigers as oppoentns. |
