Show NEWS MOTES OF SUMMIT ACTIVITIES By Hulda Peterson Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley and their sons, Leon and David, and daughters, Bonnie, Kathleen and Maxine, motored to Glen Canyon last Thursday. The family made other scenic stops along the way. Mr. and and Mrs. Max Reese and two sons of Magna spent the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Lawrence and brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow. Robert Heartshorn spent the week end with his family and father-in-law, Merrell Radford. Hulda Peterson and Georgia Matheson accompanied Mrs. Ser-elda Ser-elda Fernlcy of Milford to Enterprise En-terprise to attend the funeral services fur Mrs. Judy Lytic. Mrs. Lytle is a sister-in-law of the three women. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Cline of Salt Lake City visited several days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Jones last week. Speakers at our sacrament meeting Sunday were Bishop Ivan H. Dalley and counselor Jay Davenport Musical number was a vocal trio under the direction of Mary Lawrence, which sang 'Tray for Thee." Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fife and son Gillman, Summit; Mr. and Mrs. Mack Rider, Cedar City; Dr. and Mrs. David Urie and two daughters of Richfield and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fife and daughter of Parowan. The Gillmans were happy to have so many of their family present for the occasion. There were 61 descendants of the Gill-mans Gill-mans in attendance. Sunday evening services of the Summit Ward were presented by the M I A. Program Included sume outstanding musical numbers num-bers and talks by the young people peo-ple of the M I A. Howard Dalley has spent several sev-eral days tn the Iron County Hospital for medical treatment following a serious contact with the flu. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Hulet and their small daughter, Patricia, of Cedar City, visited the Hulet families fam-ilies here and were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Bayles of Parowan were visiting at the home of Mrs. Bayles' Brothe., Bertrand Dalley, and family on Sunday. |
