S. hog producers intend to farrow about 7 per cent fewer sows next spring than in the spring of 1944, according to a Department of Agriculture survey. sur-vey. The intentions, canvassed during the early part of December Decem-ber average about 10 per cent below the national goal for spring farrowings suggested by WFA, but run 13 per cent over the 1933-42 average.
