Show Scouts Hold Pot Luck Supper Tuesday evening, January 16, members of Roosevelt Troupe 251 held a Fathers and Sons Pot Luck supper at the Legion Barracks. Bar-racks. 72 fathers and sons attended. at-tended. Special guest, District Scout Master, James Anderson from Price, who led community singing sing-ing and urged all scouts to subscribe sub-scribe to "Boys Life", the official scouting magazine. The ceremony was high lighted light-ed by presentation of the colors by 4 local scouts; recitation of "Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag" and singing of "America" led by Scout Master Anderson. Eugene Harmston was a special spec-ial guest and was honored by being be-ing presented with an honor pin, having three sons in the U S service and at one time were Scouts. The event was under the sponsorship of Willard Day, local lo-cal scout master and assistant scout masters, Arvin Bellon, H. B. Mullins and Ray Tuttle. |
