J Improvement in the Corn Crop WASHINGTON August 10The agricultural bureau reports that the corn crop has made an improvement since last report and indications indi-cations are that the yield will be twenty six to twentyseven bushels per acre There has been an average decline of four points in spring wheat which indicates a reduction of 6000000 bushels from expectations I expecta-tions on July 1st No reports concerning threshing of winter wheat are received except I ex-cept in the South In Texas the outcome is greater than was expected and higher rates of yield are reported
