Show Mrs. Mable Jenkins Mia-Maids Have Swimming Party The Mia-Maids went to Vernal Ver-nal Wednesday evening to enjoy en-joy a swimming party and attend at-tend a picture show. Taking part in the excursion were Lela Miller, Alice Jenkins, Jen-kins, Myrna Taylor, Vella Ras-mussen, Ras-mussen, LaWanna Rasmussen, Frances Lou Jenkins, and their teacher, Mrs. Rodney Horrocks. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Perry and children visited Mrs. Perry's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow last week-end. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Perry and family, of Price. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Hullin-ger Hullin-ger and family, of Vernal, spent Sunday with Mrs. Hullinger's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow. Mack McNickel, of Kansas, is visiting friends in Lapoint. Mr. MCNickle, a former resident of Lapoint, has been away 2 years. Mr. and Mrs. Art Norton, of Twin Falls, Idaho, visited his mother, Sarah Norton, and other oth-er relatives recently. Mamie Rasmussen' accompanied them as far as Salt Lake City on their return trip, where she will visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Les Taylor and daughter, Maxine, of Leeton, Mrs. Roxie Taylor and Grace Lambert went to Provo Wednes day. Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Lambert Lam-bert received medical care at the clinic. Olive Rae Justice, of Salt Lake City, is spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. OUie Justice, Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Harrison Har-rison went to Salt Lake City during the week to visit their daughter, who is leaving to fill an L.D.S. mission m Mexico, Pete Harrison and Weldon Woolley are at Camp Fort Lewis, Lew-is, Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Justice, of Salt Lake City, spent the week-end with Mr. Justice's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Of. W. Justice. Mr. and Mrs. Merrell Rasmussen Ras-mussen were in Vernal Wednesday Wednes-day evening on business. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Thompson Thomp-son and girls, of Salt Lake City spent a few days with Mr. Thompson's mother, Mrs. Caroline Caro-line Thompson. Dianna Thompson and a girl friend, returned recently from Steamboat Springs, Colo., where she had visited with Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Swain and her grandmother, Lavinie Smith. Raymond Bigelow went to Vernal Wednesday on business. |
