Show The Utes Soon To Sun Dance Once More It is nearing the season once more when the Ute Indian tribes of the Uintah Basin begin their annual Sun Dance. The 1951 Sun Dance festival is to be held at Whiterocks, beginning July 27 and continuing-' until un-til July 29. According to Billie Cha-poose, Cha-poose, one of the old timers in the tribal dances and physical customs, he and Chetuee Atwine are in charge of arrangements for the colorful dance that will begin at 9 p. m. Friday and will continue throughout the three days. The public is invited to visit them in their dance. |
