Show f Ellen Bracken Ward Reunion Held At Ballard The annual Ballard Ward Reunion Re-union was held at the chapel Friday evening, Feb. 22. After school hours the Primary children chil-dren were entertained and served. A group of women, under un-der the supervision of Relief Society president, Minnie Angus, An-gus, served a delicious supper to everyone as they came. Many Ballard Ward members attended attend-ed the basketball at Union High and then returned to the chapel. Under the supervision of Ned Gines and Mrs. Mary Larsen, a very interesting program was presented, consisting of readings and musical numbers. To cap the climax, a skit presented by Bishop Collins and his counselors, counsel-ors, Wendel Johnson and Bernard Ber-nard Larsen was hilariously received. re-ceived. Dancing was also enjoyed, en-joyed, music being furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Art Smith and Fred Gagon. Mrs. Glen Molyneux and baby, ba-by, from Kansas City. Kansas, are guests at the home of her mother, Mrs. Erna Stolla. .Mr. Molyneux, who is in military service, is attending school in California for a few weeks. John Cook and son, Jack Cook returned home Wednesday, Feb. 21. Jack had gone to Og-den Og-den to receive medical care. There was no school held at Alterra on Thursday because of no water. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Anderson Ander-son attended funeral services for Uriah Mowrey at Lapoint on Feb. 18. They also visited in Vernal the same day. Mrs. Ray Westwood and two small boys.' of Rangely, Colo., visited at the home of her father, fath-er, John Cook, last week. She brought Wayne Cook home, who has been in Rangely for the past two months. She attended the ward reunion while here. Mrs. Spencer Squire presented present-ed the literature lesson at Re lief Society Tuesday, Feb. 19. Cloyd Wiscombe, of Provo, and DeVon Seeley, of Salt Lake; City, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alden White Saturday evening Mrs. Ralph O'Neil, of Price, has been visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McMillian. She attended the ward reunion while here. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, of Salt Lake City, spent the week end at the home of Mark's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Rasmussen. |
