Show eda!ette Sanies Workers For Hed Cross Drive According to Mrs. Parley Rawlings, Red Cross drive chairman, chair-man, the annual campaign for 1952 has been organized and will get underway immediately. The Socialette Club will handle han-dle the Roosevelt drive, and Mrs. Thelma Nye, assisted by Mrs. Jennie Van Dremmelin and the Pep Club girls of Tabiona High School will direct the drive for the Tabiona-Hann area. So' far the chapter hasn't been able to get anyone to take charge of the campaign in Duchesne, Du-chesne, but hopes to get organized organ-ized there this week. The Socialette Club, under the direction of the president, M nola Laris, has now outlined the districts and will conduct a house to house, business district ' and civic club drive in Roos-i evelt. Members to conduct the' drive are: Velma Frandsen, Betty Bet-ty McLea. Colene Simmons, Gay Johnson, Jerrie Martin, Ruth Young, Marjorie Crittenden, Critten-den, Mary Hatch, Gwen Sprouse, Louise Bearden, Ann Johansen, Blanche Wright. Lois Betts, Marie Ma-rie Russon and Jessie Bastian. Mrs. Rawlings plans to contact con-tact all Beehive girls of tha Roosevelt L.D.S. Stake for assistance as-sistance in this worthy cause. Their theme for the month of March is "service. "Answer the Call" is the theme of the drive this year, announced an-nounced Mrs. Howard Harrison, county Red Cross chairman, who also states that the funds received re-ceived from the drive will be used to supply blood to the armed services and to answer all relief calls. Goal for Duchesne Du-chesne County is $1246. She solicits the public's support; especially es-pecially asks that the girls who call be treated courteously and given as great a contribution as possible. A campaign meeting "is being held tonight at 8 p m. at Mrs. Harrison's home to complete organization details and to distribute dis-tribute supplies to the workers |
