Show Stella Underwood PTA UoMs Party Thursday Night P.T.A. meeting was held Thursday night at Alterra, witn a large attendance. It was an apron ap-ron and overall party, and a plate lunch was served. Proceeds Pro-ceeds will go to the PTA state teachers training scholarship fund. A large number of farmers from this area attended the P.M.A. meeting at Alterra on Tuesday of last week. The small daughter of Mr. and Mr?.' J. Mecham was in the Roosevelt Hospital two days last week with pneumonia. She is much improved at this writing. writ-ing. A large crowd attended an oil meeting at Alterra on Feb. 19, called bv the Island Petroleum Corporation of Galveston, Texas, Tex-as, to discuss the unitization program. Ivan Domgaard is driving a new Mercury. Many from here attended the Robert B. Allred funeral held in the Naples Ward Chapel on Saturday. The community extends ex-tends its heartfelt sympathy to the family. Mr. Allred had lived in Gusher for the past 27 years and will be greatly missed. Baptist Bible class was held at the Louck home in Fort Duchesne Du-chesne last Thursday, night with fourteen present. Refreshments were served.' - - |
