Show Young Couple To Marry In Temple Announcement of the engagement engage-ment of Miss Glenna Ross to Dale Anderson was made this week by the bride-elect's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Laren Ross, of Tridell. Miss Ross is a junior student at Union High. Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Anderson, of Salt Lake City, former residents of Tridell. He is employed at the Fred A. Carlson Carl-son Company in Salt Lake City. The young couple is planning a temple ceremony, but the date has not been set. Lester Bartlett made a trip to Salt Lake City Sunday of last week. . Mr. and Mrs. Horace Behrman visited in Salt Lake City over the weekend with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Deone Behrman. Ivan and Ellis Morrill made a business trip to Salt Lake Saturday, Sat-urday, returning Sunday. Mrs. James Harvey visited Friday in Salt Lake City. Boyd Lemon left Sunday for an air base in-Tennessee, after spending a week's furlough here. Fireside Chat was held Sunday Sun-day evening at the Laren Ross home, with Glenna Ross acting as hostess. Mrs. Clarence Bowden, of Salt Lake City, visited last week with her daughters, Mrs. Ruth Goodrich and Mrs. Virginia B. Goodrich. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Goodrich "and daughter, Lynne, were Salt Lake City visitors Tuesday of last week. Clyde Bartlett, of Provo, visited vis-ited over the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Owen Bartlett. Clyde Merkley went, to Logan Wednesday, where he attended a seed growers convention. He returned home Saturday. Mrs. Ruth Harvey, acting school nurse, visited school Friday. Fri-day. A large crowd attended priesthood priest-hood meeting in Vernal Sunday. Sun-day. Velma Harvey visited over the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Harvey. |
