Show i Xeetch-Sennett New Well To Be Located Near No. 1 The Carter Oil Co. is working on the location for the new well to be drilled on the Heber Peterson Pet-erson land mile. west of the Leeton No. 1. Mr. and Mrs. John Haslem have gone to Provo to see their new granddaughter, born in the Valley Hospital Wednesday of last week. The little miss is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lewis. The mother is the former Rhea Haslem. Mrs. John Haslem will remain in Provo to care for her daughter. Glenn Allred, of Gusher, is working as a pumper at the Leeton Lee-ton No. 1 well. His father passed away recently, and George Hous ton has been taking Glenn's place while he has been off the job. Mr. and Mrs. Kelvin Williams, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with Mrs. Williams' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Bolton. Mrs. Clair Haslem has; been taken to the L.D.S. Hospital in Salt Lake City. She had been i under treatment in the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital for a gall stone attack. A gToup of children attended the birthday party for Sandra Bowen, 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bowen. The' children were delighted wit a the lovely party and the beautiful beauti-ful birthday cake and luncheon. On account of bad roads' there has been no Mutual meetings for ' several weeks, but - it is thought they will try to hold a meeting Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Dillman, here to attend funeral services for Homer P. Edwards, visited for a short time Monday with his sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Linker visited vis-ited recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Coltharp. Mrs. Linker is the former Frances Fran-ces Jane Sur, niece of Mrs. Coltharp. Col-tharp. Mrs. Frances Bowen has returned re-turned home after having a delightful de-lightful 'trip to the northwest. Sunday, a birthday dinner was given in honor of W. H. Coltharp. His children, ther families, and Mr .and Mrs. Linker, Link-er, of Salt Lake City, surprised him with a celebration in hon-; hon-; or of the occasion. |
