Show Utah Go-ops Set S. L Convention The annual meeting of the Utah Cooperative Association will be held at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City on Friday, Fri-day, Feb. 29, and Saturday, Mar. 1, according to Rulon Anderton, An-derton, president, Uintah Farm-erc Farm-erc Union Co-op, Roosevelt, local affiliate of the state cooperative wholesale. All members of local cooperatives cooper-atives are invited to participate in the meetings and hear an outstanding group of speakers headed by Charles Baker, manager man-ager of Pacific Supply Cooperative, Cooper-ative, Walla Walla, Washington, and Dr. C. Caurice Wieting, vice president and director of organization of the Ohio Farm Bureau, Columbus, Ohio, said Mr. Anderton. Other speakers at the two-day meeting, which begins at noon Friday and closes at noon Saturday, Sat-urday, will include Heber Ben-nion, Ben-nion, Jr., Utah secretary of state; Dr. O. Meredith Wilson, dean of the University College, University Univer-sity of Utah;; G. Alvin Carpenter, Carpen-ter, assistant director of Extension, Exten-sion, U.S.A.C ; Fred Simonton, Utah Farmers Union; Mrs. Louise Lou-ise W. East, president of Assocf-ated Assocf-ated Women, Utah Farm Bureau; Bu-reau; Ray Garrett, assistant general gen-eral manager, Norbest Turkey Growers; and Spafford Sumsion, U.C.A. director from Moroni. U.C.A. Manager W. B. Robins will deliver the annual report. . " - : |
