Show ROY FARNSWORTH MT. HOME Roy Farnsworth, 57, farmer and stockman, and veteran of World War I, died in a Salt Lake hospital Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. after an extended illness of a heart ailment. He was born July 27, 1896, in Frisco, Beaver County, a son of David B. and Minnie E Johnson Farnsworth. When he was a boy, the family came to Mt. Home, where he lived until five years ago. x At that time, he accepted work as a carpenter in TOD Park, where he worked until his health failed. He married Mrs. Rozella Anderson An-derson Stewart On June 13, 1932 in Vernal. Surviving are his wife, Mt. Home; one daughter, Mrs. Eva Joy Behrman, TOD Park; one granddaughter; two step-sons and one step-daughter, Verlynn Stewart, Mt. Home; Deloy Stewart, Stew-art, TOD Park; and Mrs. Ra-mona Ra-mona Stevens, Kearns; five brothers and two sisters, David B. and Floyd Farnsworth, Mt Home; Lindon K. Farnsworth, Altamont; Earl Farnsworth, of Trout Lake, Wash.; Alden Farnsworth, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lacy Thayne, West Jordan; and Mrs. Margaret Theyen, Farmington. Mr. Farnsworth was an active ac-tive member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had served as superintendent super-intendent of the Sunday School and Young Men's Mutual Improvement Im-provement Assn. and as scoutmaster scout-master in Mt. Home ward. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary, Roosevelt, Friday and at the residence in Mt. Home Friday evening and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in Mt. Home Cemetery. |
