Show Church Notes GLEANERS MEET Mt. Emmons ward Gleaners held ' their weekly study class Thursday, Sept. 15, at the home of Mrs. Eva Bentley. Mrs. Edgar Miles presented present-ed a lesson on the Beatitudes, which was enjoyed by all, after which light refreshments were served. SPECIAL INTEREST SOCIAL The Special Interest class of the Mt. Emmons ward enjoyed their first social of the new Mutual Mu-tual year, Tuesday, Sept. 13th. A very successful pot-luck supper was held in the chapel, after which class members were introduced to this year's course of study by Mr. and Mrs. Rondo Harmon. The class will study the book, "The First 2000 Years," by Cleon Skousen, under the able leadership of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon. LEADERSHIP MEETING Moon Lake stake Mutual Leadership Leader-ship meeting was held Saturday, Sept. 17 in the Upal'co ward house. Ona Rust, of Altamont, conducted the meeting. The Bee Hive department, depart-ment, under the direction of Ilene McConkie, was in charge of the assembly program. Bee Hive girls who participated were Shirley McConkie, Carole Potts, Cherry Wall Roberta Denver, Patricia Swasey and Arcenith Snow. The stake board served delicious homemade home-made donuts and punch at the end of the meeting. |
