Show Reception Honors Dr. And Tflrs. E. R. Keller Friday A wedding reception honored Dr. and Mrs. E. R. Keller, of Salt Lake City, Friday evening at the Legion hall. The bride and groom spoke their vows, in Salt Lake City August 27th. The new Mrs. Keller, nee JoAnn Gingell, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gingell. A beautiful 4-tier wedding cake centered the refreshment table, which was decorated with fall flowers. A program furnished entertainment entertain-ment for the many friends who greeted the newlyweds. A trumpet solo, by Owen Burgener; vocal duet, du-et, Miss Beverly Anderson and Lowell Babcock, accompanied by Mrs. Syrel Dennis; reading, Mrs. Aften Richens; vocal solo, Mrs. Russell Gingell, accompanied by Miss Joyce Gingell; piano solo, Miss Joyce Gingell. The gift room was in charge of sisters of the bride, Mrs. Antone Uresk and Miss Joyce Gingell, while Mrs. Russell Gingell assisted assist-ed in serving. During the evening, dancing was enjoyed by guests and members of the wedding party. A guest at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen, Sr. during the past week was an old friend from Ephraim, Roy Anderson. Ander-son. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Yergenscn are enjoying a visit from his mother, who came from Monroe last week. Philip Todd, who has been serving ser-ving in the SeaBees, a branch of the U. S. Navy, during the past two years, arrived home Thursday. He received his discharge Sept. 12th at Treasure Island. Philip enlisted en-listed Oct. 4, 1951, and took special spe-cial training and schooling before being sent to Guam, where he specialized spe-cialized in handling of heavy equipment. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd, and his brother, Alan were happy to welcome him home, as were his other relatives and many friends. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Wall, who have been visiting during the past ten days at the home of Mrs. Homer Robinson, left Sunday for their home in Jamestown, Kansas. Mrs. Wall is a sister of Mrs. Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe came from Provo to attend the American Ameri-can Legion and Auxiliary District convention, Sunday. They anticipate antici-pate returning soon to again make their home in Myton. Mrs. H. K. Palmer is a guest at the home of Mrs. Lena Lison-bee. Lison-bee. Mrs. Palmer recently arrived from Santa Monica, Calif, to attend at-tend to her property interests here. |
