Show Better Team Work In P-TA Theme Of Conference The theme, "Better Team Work for Better P-TA," was emphasized at the Regional P-TA Conference held at the Altamont High School last Friday night, when six board members from the Utah Congress of Parents and Teachers were in attendance. Mrs. Howard Roberts, of Myton, regional director, introduced and welcomed the guests, followed by a message of greeting from Supt. Rowan C. Stutz. j State visitors present were Mrs. Youngs McGregor, third vice-president, who gave the president's message; Dr. J. C. Moffitt, 2nd vice-president; Dr. Joseph Carling, Health and safety chairman; Mrs. Howard Gee, Exceptional Child chairman; Miss Winifred Hazen, Home and Family Life chairman; and Mrs. Bonnie Anderson, field representative. The general session was conducted con-ducted by Dr. Moffitt and Miss Hazen, after which the group separated sep-arated for departmental sessions, conducted by the state officers. A like conference was held in Vernal the following morning. Preceding the 7:30 meeting, out-of-town guests, P-TA council members mem-bers and principals were served a delicious dinner in the lunch room of the Altamont School. |
