Show FARMERETTES TO MEET Mrs. Lilly Mae Clayburn wishes to announce that a Farmerette meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Arcadia Ward chapel. Mrs. Elaine KrLssman of Roosevelt will be there to demonstrate demon-strate some handicraft. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brady and Carol Ann Brady of Salt Lake spent the weekend with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Brady ' Mr. and Mrs. Ray Chatwin, en-route en-route to their home at Clearfield from the Canal Zone, stopped Sunday Sun-day afternoon to visit briefly with Mr. and Mrs. Elden Brady. The Chatwins are close friends of Mr and Mrs. Ronald Linsonbee and were sharing a home together prior to the release of Mr. Chat-win Chat-win from the Armed Forces. Mrs. Chris Larsen of Arcadia spent two days visiting Mrs. Chastie Chas-tie Neilsen. Mrs. Elda Van Tasseil and Mrs. Clista Neilsen attended a P-TA convention at Altamont Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Murphy of Mt. Shasta, Calif., are visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Norton of Vernal were overnight guests of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Neilsen. Merlin Norton and Miss Guyla York of Vernal visited one day during the week with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Neilsen. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gail accompanied accomp-anied by their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thure Carlson Carl-son of Roosevelt, went to Salt Lake City Monday to go. to the Temple Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cook of Idaho visited Sunday with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gail. Mrs. Alma Smith accompanied her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young of Mt. Emmons to Provo Saturday where she visited her son Howard and family while the Youngs attended the Ice Follies in Salt Lake City. Wanless. Shields accompanied by his mother, Mrs. Marion Shields, went to Tooele Friday to attend funeral services for a friend who was killed in a tractor accident. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stansfield made a business trip to Price on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Merrell King of Salt Lake City visited briefly Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stansfield. Stans-field. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Liddell and Mrs. Rose Walker of Roosevelt visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell. Mrs. Lois Stansfield went to Vernal Friday to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Neilsen. |
