The rest of .the evening was spent in square dancing and games. Mrs. Diana Parker and soa, of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sike Thompson. Mrs. Vera Bigelow has received re-ceived word that her mother, ' Mrs. Rhoda Ann Lee, is in an Ogden hospital with pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Stubbs and son, Brent, of Davis Ward, spent Monday night with Mrs. Stubbs' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Angus and son, Victor, of Orem, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Angus and family. They came for the deer hunt. The Relief Society held its work meeting Tuesday. The afternoon af-ternoon was spent quilting. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Perry and sons. Kenneth and Glade, of Provo, visited Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow on Wednesday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Taliaferro and family and Mr. and Mrs. Bob King, of Green River, Wyo., recently re-cently visited Mrs. Taliaferro's mother, Mrs. Alice Angus, and her brother and sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Angus and family. Mrs. Norma Green, of Maeser recently visited her father, Ben Cook, who was ill at his home. Mr. Cook went home with her for medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hor-rocks Hor-rocks and daughter, Marlene, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Horrocks and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horrocks Hor-rocks attended ithe funeral services ser-vices for Raymond White at the Vernal Third Ward on Wednesday Wednes-day of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Joyce Long and daughter spent two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Long and family at Bennett. Milt Woolley and George Bigelow were called for jury duty at Vernal last week. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Kump on Thursday were their children. Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Kump, of Vernal, and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus and children, of Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Orvil Swain, Rulen Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen and David Burgess went up to Cheppita Lakes recently to do some construction work. Jim Neumeyer has been discharged dis-charged after 'four years in the Navy and is now at home. Mrs. Helen Pilleburg was in Roosevelt Thursday on business. Wilford Woodruff, of Boise, Idaho, is visiting his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harlen Turner. Ned Pilleburg, of Salt Lake City, is visiting his wife, Helen, and his son. David. Mrs. Dona Elmer, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, visited Friday with her mother, Mrs. Mae Sprouse. |
