Last week when Mrs. Burgess Bur-gess was out to Teacher's Institute, Insti-tute, she bought some little gold fish. She also bought four snails. We put the gold fish and snails in the aquarium with some rocks, some water plants, and some sand and water. We feed the fish special aquarium food. We like to watch the gold fish and the snails. The snails go to sleep on the water plants and go up and down the glass They also crawl around on the sand. We voted on names for the fish. The winning names were "Goldie" and "Bubbles." The rocks in ouj aquarium are from Vermont. We found out that one is a banded agate and the other is an obsidian. Early people were able to shape weapons and tools from the obsidian. ob-sidian.
