Show YFit. Simmons Mrs. Grant Hansen Opening Meeting Of P-TA Held The first meeting of the Alta-mont Alta-mont P-TA was held in the High School Auditorium on Wednesday. Wednes-day. Oct. 15, at 8 p. m. The meeting was under the direction direc-tion of President Edith Burton. A program of choral numbers was presented by the 7th and 8 th grade chorus, under the direction di-rection of Miss Smithson. At the business meeting, several sev-eral committee chairmen were chosen to help with some school problems. After the meeting, recreation and refreshments were enjoyed by those present. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Hansen, of Salt Lake City, recently visited vis-ited relatives here for a week. Grant Hansen returned home Friday, Oct. 17, after undergoing undergo-ing an operation in the L D S Hospital in Salt Lake City. Miss Peggy Case was home to see her parents last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. M. Parker, of American Fork, were also week end visitors at .the Floyd Case home. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Sprou? and family, of Roosevelt, ha:l dinner Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case and their othex viisitors. Mr. and Mrs. DeLoss Bird, formerly of Altonah. are now living in the home which was vacated recently by Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen. Mrs. Les Orr and Mrs. Chester Hartman accompanied Foster Rhodes to Nampa, Idaho last week to attend the funeral ot their cousin, Earl Marsing, who had held offices of state and national importance. They were gone from Tuesday, Oct. 14, to Friday, Oct. 17. |
