Show Lora Smithson To Wed Ogden Man In June Mr. and Mrs. Nephi .Smithson announce the engagement of their daughter, Lora, to Ronald Opp, of Ogden. A June wedding is being planned. Miss Smithson, who is employed in Salt Lake, and her fiance, spent a few days here at the Smithson home. Mrs. Levi, of Sevier, is visiting visit-ing at the home of her daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Peterson. Wayne Davis left last week for Salt Lake City, where he has employment. HEAR BOOK REVIEW Members of the Relief Society enjoyed a review of the novel, "Pride and Prejudice," by Jane Austin, which was given by Helen Larsen as part of the lesson on literature. Mrs. Tal Wardle was a patient at the Roosevelt hospital last week. A recent visitor at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mont Arbuckle, was Miss Dorothy Dalton, of Provo. L. D. Gardner, of Salt Lake City, was a business visitor here last week. Mrs. Ted Jensen, of Roosevelt visited at the Ken McClellan , home, Thursday. Word has been received of the birth of a baby girl to Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Zager. Lloyd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Zager, of Murray, is stationed with the Air Corps in Colorado. The family fam-ily was foTmer residents of Neola. Little Cheryl Malnar celebrated celebrat-ed her sixth birthday last Saturday Sat-urday with cake, ice cream and games. Twenty friends enjoyed the occasion with her. Dinner guests at the Wayne Bastian home last Sunday included in-cluded Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Bastian, Bas-tian, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bastian and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Krissman and children, KaDee Bastian and Scott Ed-rington. |
