Show Meet With Group, 5 My ton Women Honored Officers of the American Legion Leg-ion Auxiliary, Department of Utah, met with the Myton, Roosevelt and Neola units at the Frontier Grill in Roosevelt, Monday at 4 p.m. Department President Lona Watson, and Department De-partment Secretary Eve Coak- ley addressed the group. Members Mem-bers of the Myton Unit who attended at-tended were Unit President Joan Tolboe, Mrs. Milton Lott, Mrs. Emery Nielson, Mrs. J. L, Courtland, Mrs. George Tanner, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. Jennie Jen-nie Tuttle and Mrs. W. R. Harris. Har-ris. Highlight of the event was the presentation of 25-year pins, representing 25 years of continuous con-tinuous membership in the American Legion Auxiliary by Department President Watson to five Myton members: Mrs. Jennie Jen-nie Tuttle, Mrs. Wm. R. Harris, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. James Dalgleish, who were present at the meeting and to Mrs. Nellie Tuttle, who resides at Chico, Calif, and could not be present. Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Cooper are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby daughter, born Wednesday, Wednes-day, April 22nd at the Roosevelt Hospital. Mr. Cooper brought his wife and baby daughter home Sunday to be greeted by the small son and daughter. Mrs. Don Herbert was attending attend-ing to business matters in Salt LakeCity, Thursday and Friday. Fri-day. Mrs. James Dalgleish returned return-ed home Friday, from Salt Lake City, where she received medical medi-cal attention and visited relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Paul Felter received word from her son, Don Mc-Kenna, Mc-Kenna, that he had entered the U. S. Army, April 20th and at present is stationed at Fort Ord. Don has been employed at Palo Alto, Calif, during the past two years. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stephens and children returned Friday from Rifle, Colo., where Mr. Stephens .' aria-:, children enjoyed a vacation. Mrs. Stephens suffered suf-fered an attack of appendicitis whil there and underwent surgery sur-gery at the Glenwood Springs hospital and was sufficiently recovered re-covered to be returned home Friday. |
