Show J. Harold Eldredge, superintendent super-intendent of the Roosevelt Hospital, Hos-pital, and Hollis Hullinger, member mem-ber of the hospital board, attended attend-ed the Western States Hospital Association convention in Salt Lake City Monday and Tuesday. Wayne Carle, Union High School faculty n?ember, has resigned re-signed his potf'fj'oV here to accept ac-cept a position at the Dixon Junior High School in Provo next fall. Mr. Carle has taught at Union for one year. Mrs. Kathryn Ridgeway and daughter of Riverton, Wyoming, are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Czar Rudy. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Weiss and son, Dick, spent from last Thursday to Saturday in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Wilford Workman Work-man stayed with Mrs. Weiss' mother, Mrs. Ellis, during their absence. Mrs. Frank Mehner, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Harrison, of Lubbock, New Mexico, visited at the Xavier Bellon home last weekend. Miss Gretta Anderson, who arrived ar-rived recently from Denmark, is at the Alva Snow home, where she will be employed to work out her transportation to the States. She is a member of the LDS church. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Burr are leaving Saturday for Salt Lake City, where they will make their home, after residing in Roosevelt for the past four years. Ruth Burr will remain here at the Melvin Peterson home until school is out. While Auxiliary Department officers were in Fort Duchesne for the District 9 convention, they were guests at the home of Mrs. Bill Sutteer. They were Lona Watson, of Cedar City, and Eve Coakley, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Gardner and son, Randy, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nelson and son. Richard, Rich-ard, returned Monday from a trip to' the Northwest and San Francisco, reporting a delightful time. Mrs. Nelson has returned to Roosevelt after spending the winter in Salt Lake City. Clyde Allred, of Salt Lake City, attended the Court of Honor meeting Sunday at Gusher, Gush-er, when his son, Larry, received re-ceived the Eagle Scout badge. Mrs. Ted Olpin left to visit relatives in Chicago, and will be joined next week by Mr. Olpin. Ol-pin. They will drive back a new automobile. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eldredge attended the track meet at Provo last Saturday. Bob Sather was transferred from the Roosevelt Hospital to the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City last Friday, where he underwent un-derwent an operation on his leg, which had been broken previously. Reports are that he is improving rapidly. Mr. and Mrs. John Swenson were Provo and Salt Lake City visitors Monday and Tuesday. |
