Show JULIA SMITH KETTLE" Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Ballard ward chapel, church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints, for Mrs. Julia Smith Kettle, Ket-tle, 68, who died Saturday night at the 'homa of her daughter, Mrs. Max (Clara) Gardner. Bish. op Golden Collins conducted the services. She was an active church member. Following her marriage mar-riage to Samuel B. Kettle, Mar. 18, 1902 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, they moved to American Ameri-can Fork, later to Vernal and Fruita, Colo., where they resided re-sided eight years, then to Neola, for 12 years. In Neola she served ser-ved in the Relief Society. They moved to Ballard, where she served in the Primary Ass'n, Relief Society and other auxiliaries. auxil-iaries. Surviving are: four sons and three daughters: Elmer and Lester, Les-ter, Myton; Marvin and Elton, Roosevelt; Mrs. Omer (Elsie) Secrist, Moab; Mrs. Max (Clara) Gardner, Roosevelt, Mrs. F. J. (Ora) Showell, Salt Lake City, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Gerty Jacobsen, Burley, Idaho; Mrs. Mary E. Long, Grand View, Wash.; Mrs. Chloe Burkhardt, Salt Lake; Annie Woods, California; 26 grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Vernal cemetery cem-etery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. JOSEPH H. PUEBLO Joseph Henry Pueblo, 80, of Salt Lake City, died Friday at 3:25 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment. He was born in Payson, Utah, on April 4, 1873, a son of Joseph and Ann Jackson Pueblo. He married Katherine Wall in Duchesne Du-chesne on March 18, 1922. She died Sept. 26, 1949. He was engaged in the livestock live-stock business and at various times was a resident of Duchesne, Du-chesne, Myton, Heber City and Provo. moving to Salt Lake City about four years ago. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by a son and four step-children, including Mrs. Erna Murray, of Roosevelt. Graveside services were conducted con-ducted Wednesday in'the Provo City Burial Park. CHRISTINA JACOBSON LLOYD Funeral services will be keld Friday at 1 p.m. in the Burton LDS ward chapel in Salt Lake City for Mrs. Christinia Jacobs son Lloyd, 84, who died in a Salt Lake Hospital, Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon of causes incident to age. Mrs. Lloyd was born April 15, 1869, in Pine Valley, Washington Wash-ington County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jacobson. She married William M. Lloyd in the old Salt Lake Endowment En-dowment House, and the couple made their home in the Uintah Basin, where Mr. Lloyd operated operat-ed a farm. They moved to Salt Lake City fifteen years ago, where Mr. Lloyd died in 1948. Surviving are four sons, William Wil-liam M. and Lamond Lloyd, both of Salt Lake City, and James and Otto L. Lloyd, both of Roosevelt; two daughters, Mrs. Etta May L. Crosby, Mt. Emmons, and Mrs. Pearl L. Mitchell. Salt Lake City; 39 grandchildren and 61 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. ETTA W. ROSS Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Et-ta Wardle Ross, 71, who died at her residence in Murray, Tues day, will be conducted Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Murray Second ward LDS Chapel. Additional graveside services will be held Friday at 4:30 p.m. in Maeser Cemetery, Vernal. Mrs. Ross was born Feb. 12, 1882, at Midway, a daughter of George and Caroline K. Fisher Wardle. A resident of Murray the past five years, she had formerly resided in Ioka, Duchesne Du-chesne County, and Ogden. On Oct. 8, 1902, she was married mar-ried to Frances A. Ross in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in December, 1941. An active Church member, She was former president of the Ioka Primary Ass'n. and was active in the Relief Society. She also wrote poetry for church publications. Survivors include two sons, Gerald Frances Ross, Murray; George Stephen Ross, Yuba City, Cal.; three daughters, Mrs. Ardith R. Johansen, Boneta, Duchesne County; Mrs. Theora Harris, Coalville; Mrs. Naida Lister, St. George; two sisters, Mrs. William Shelton, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Eda Reid, Vernal; t 17 grandchildren and four great- ' grand-children. MRS. ROY SMITH Mrs. Roy Smith, of Sequa-i Sequa-i mish, Wash., passed away at 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 1953, of a lingering illness. Mrs. Smith was employed at the Whiterocks Indian school for a number of years. On retiring, they moved to Sequamish, to make their home. Her many friends here will be saddened to hear of her death.
