Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Seminary Gives Sunday Program A very interesting program was given in Sacrament meeting, meet-ing, Sunday evening, under the direction of Wayne Hansen, principal of the Duchesne Seminary. Sem-inary. Shelby Lisonbee and Wanless Shields, of Bridgeland, were visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate and Mrs. Rose Gilbert spent a few days in Salt. Lake during the week. Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, chil-dren, of Neola. spent Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Mrs. Floyd Mecham and children, chil-dren, of Mt. Home, visited several sev-eral days at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilbert and 'children spent Sunday visiting visit-ing at the home of Mrs. Gil bert's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Porter Merrell, in Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields received word of the death of Mr. Shield's brother, Robert Shields, of Tooele. They attended funeral services Monday Mon-day in Tooele. Mrs. Charlie Bird took a car load of girls to' Vernal, Friday for Activities day. Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans and children made a trip to Vernal, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Loryn Ross, of Myton, visited Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross. Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson, of Myton, were dinner guests, Sunday, of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Char-lie Bird. Lynn Hansen, of Mt. Emmons, is employed for Lynn Fairbanks Fair-banks on his ranch. Donna Ross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross, was chosen one of the girls to go to Logan. Lamar Ross, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross, fell down at school Friday and suffered a slight brain concussion, but is O K at this writing. (Too Lale For Lasl Week) Miss Pauline Larsen and Marilyn Mar-ilyn Zirker came in from Provo, Saturday to attend the reception recep-tion for Mr. and Mrs. Gwen Bodily. Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Johan-sen Johan-sen and children, of Upalco, spent several days at the home-of home-of Mrs. Johansen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Johnson. Mrs. Margaret Ross entertained entertain-ed at a birthday dinner Saturday, Satur-day, April 18 in honor of. her husband, Stanley Ross. Mr. and Mrs. Ab Ross were present. |
