Show Our Boys la The Service JOE A. REIDHEAD SALSBURG, AUSTRIA Cpl. Joe A. Reidhead, 21, son of Joe A. Reidhead, Roosevelt, Utah, recently recent-ly participated in Exercise Roundup, Round-up, an Army training maneuver in Austria. Held under simulated combat conditions, the week-long exercise included attacks by an "Aggressor Force" of British soldiers. In anticipation an-ticipation of the attacks, U. S troops evacuated the area in a test of mobility. Reidhead, a member of the 510th Field Artillery Battalion's Headquarters . Battery, was a tire recapper for Hafen's Ok Rubber Welders in St. George before entering en-tering the 'Army in November, 1953. A member of Lamba Delta Sigma fraternity, he was graduated graduat-ed from Dixie Junior College in 1952. JOHN E. FAUSETT SAN DIEGO, Calif. (FHTNC) Ships of Destroyer Division 112 are scheduled to return here Mar. 13, completing a six-month, tour of duty in the Far East. Aboard the destroyer USS Arnold Ar-nold J. Isbell is John E. Fausett, machinist's mate second class, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Fausett of Myton, Utah. The division divis-ion left in September for operations opera-tions with the U. S. 7th Fleet. They were assigned as part of the screening force for fast carrier Task Force 77 and with the surface sur-face gun-fire support force during the Tachen Islands evacuation. While in the Far East, the division di-vision visited the ports of Yoko-suka, Yoko-suka, Kure and Sasebo, Japan; Subic Bay, Philippine Islands and Hong Kong. |
