Show Violet Gentry Bertha Angus Jesse Palm, forest ranger from Altamont, was in Ioka, Tuesday, transacting busines. SIXTH BIRTHDAY Mrs. Donna Lemon entertained Friday in honor of Neil Lemon's sixth birthday. Following an afternoon after-noon of fun, delicious refreshments refresh-ments were served to the following follow-ing guests: Jerry and Carl Foote, Pat Sue Gentry, Jesse Lloyd, Cloyd and Maria Timothy, Steve Drollinger, Betty Percival, Bobby Michie, Janice and Kay Zobell, Dale Cloward,. Lynn and Lyle Lemon Lem-on and the guest of honor. Mrs. Reva Whitmore, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Colleen Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Senor Mortensen, Sr, spent Sunday at the Lloyd and Lee Nelson farm in Upalco. Mr. and Mrs.. B. L. Dart, of Price, spent Tuesday in Ioka, visiting vis-iting and taking care of business. TENTH BIRTHDAY Ann Kiilian was guest of honor at a party celebrating her tenth birthday Friday. The fololwing friends gathered at her home: Colleen Col-leen Shields, Sheila McDonald, Marilyn Swain, Nancy Harrison, Peggy Wills of Roosevelt; Marilyn Mari-lyn Drollinger, Gloria Robison, Diana Zobell, Eda Bee Percival, Gail Zobell, Beth Dart, Jean Lloyd, Renae, Diana and Janet Russell, Katherine Lamb and Beatrice Mil-burn Mil-burn of Ioka, and Bennie and Linda Lin-da Nelson, of Upalco. An afternoon after-noon of fun was folojwed by dainty dain-ty refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gentry were among; those who attended the lovely wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. John: Fausett, whiGh was held Saturday evening at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Paul String-ham String-ham of Roosevelt. Coming in for the wedidng of their brother, John Fausett, were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Horrocks, of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn MC-Carrell MC-Carrell and Mr. and Mrs. Craig Caldwell of Vernal. They were accompanied ac-companied by Bud Covington and Grant Perry, alsp of Vernal. Lloyd Jensen came in from Provo, Pro-vo, where he is employed, to spend the weekend with his family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jones and daughter, LaRee, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foote and family spent the weekend in Levan. SUNDAY DINNER GUESTS Mr. and Mrs. Dean Washburn entertained at a family dinner on Sunday. The ocasion being Tommy Tom-my Washburn's birthday. Those gathered were Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay and girls, Jean Nally, Mr. Reay's mother who is visiting from Altonah, and the host and hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Ricks and two boys spent Friday visiting Mr. and Mrs. James F. Lemon. Robert Marchant left for Provo Friday to be with his wife. Mrs. Devon Gentry, of Myton, and son, Donald, of Salt Lake, visited Mrs. Thomas Gentry on Saturday. Mrs. Zelma Lloyd visited over the weekend in Midvale with her son, Gam, and family. She went out Friday with her brother, Wil-lard Wil-lard Day, of Salt Lake City, who had been visiting here and returned return-ed Sunday. Charles Richens", who is working work-ing in Salt Lake City, came in and spent Sunday with his family. Marilan Moore, of Roosevelt, was a weekend visitor at the Lamb home here. |
