Show High Priests Have Enjoyable Outing The Stake High Priests had an outdoor party at the Alta-mont Alta-mont Rodeo Grounds last Saturday. Sat-urday. They began at about four o'clock with volley ball and baseball games, then had a bonfire and program later in the evening. Wm. Evans was in charge of the program which consisted of songs by Les Pearson. Pear-son. Lester Stevenson and Lee Potts and a vocal duet by Vol-, ney Boswell and Mrs. Lyle Young. The refreshments were hot dogs, cantaloupe and ice cream. Community singing was . led by Gail Anderson. The president pres-ident of the High Priests' Quor-'" Quor-'" urn is Ray Oman. There were between 60 and 70 there. ' Mr. and Mrs. Moyle Parker and daughter, Patrecia Kaye, of American Fork, spent the weekend week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case and family. Miss Marylee Lisonbee, of Bluebell, spent the weekend with Miss Melba Rust. Her parents par-ents came out to get her Sunday Sun-day afternoon and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Rust. Pete Wall was in Salt Lake City on business, Sunday and Monday. Lawrence Young was in Bridgeland for two days last week doing chores for Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith, who were attending at-tending a funeral out of town. Mr. and Mrs. Max Hartman and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hart-man Hart-man were in Price on Monday of last week. Mrs. Chester Hartman was receiving medical attention. Paul Lucas is visiting with ! his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Perkins. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lucas, of Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stevenson Steven-son and ' son, Dwayne. visited Sunday, with Mr. and -Mrs. Le-land Le-land Stevenson and family. Le-land Le-land has just returned from six . - weeks ROTC training in California. Cal-ifornia. Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Kolb.and family attended the Masonic picnic in Uinta Canyon last Sunday. |
