Show Temple Rites To ' Unite 2 Couples Mrs. Leonard Harris and son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Harris, will go to Salt Lake City, Thursday, to be present at the wedding services Friday, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, uniting her daughter, Jenene Harris and Max Peat-ross. Peat-ross. Others attending the services ser-vices will be the mother of the groom-to-be, Mrs. Lydia Peat-ross, Peat-ross, and Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Perry and Mrs. Lydia Nielson. . Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Crapo will attend the L.D.S. Temple wedding wed-ding of their daughter. Joan, who will become the bride of Gerald Taylor, Thursday. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs Angus D. Taylor, of, Salem. Utah. Bishop and Mrs. Glen Gilbert will also go to Salt Lake City to be present. Mrs. Guy Giles returned home last week after spending several weeks with her husband, hus-band, who is employed at Othello, Wash. Mrs. O. A. Dart, Sr. returned home Wednesday from San Diego, Calif., where she and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Willis Dart, of Duchesne, spent about 2 weeks to be with their son and husband, respectively. Willis Wil-lis is serving in the U. S. Navy and after seve?al months in the Korea area, returned to the U. S. docking at San Diego for a short time. TEACH IN LAYTON Mr. and Mrs. Morris Miller and family were Myton visitors last week when they prepared their furniture for shipment. Mr. Miller was principal of thej Myton Elementary School dur- ing the past two years and will teach at Layton during the 1953-54 school year. Miss Helen Hemphill left Wednesday Wed-nesday to visit her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Orr, at Rivertori. Miss Wilma Van' Tuyl, Miss Corinne Blomquist and Harry Vanoucek arrived Wednesday from Chicago to visit Louis Ur-esk Ur-esk at the ranch home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Uresk, Sr. They will visit here about 2 weeks and enjoy a fishing trip in Uinta Canyon. Louis will accompany them on their return trip to Chicago to resume his studies at the Northwestern North-western Dental College. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Perry were Mrs. Perry's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cal-vin Nielson, and family, of Murray. Mr. Nielson, a former Myton resident, was greeting old friends while here. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Babcock are enjoying a visit from Mrs. Babcock's mother, Mrs. Axtell, who arrived last week from Oakland, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Frandsen left Sunday for Price, where they will reside while Mr. I Frandsen is employed in that district. RECEIVES RELEASE Franklyn Peterson returned home last week after receiving his discharge from the U. S. Army. Franklyn is now busy harvesting the crops on the family fam-ily farm. |
